geojlcI have a fast computer! Over Christmas we went to Fry's down in Oregon (geek central huge computer store for those who don't know). We got an AMD2000 1.2gigaherz processor, 256 megs of DDR ram, and an 80 gig hard drive. The onboard sound mostly works (it does some weird things when I play pharoah). Day before Yesterday, we got an nvidea geforce2 mx videocard with 64mb so I can play neverwinter nights. ok. this is a really geeky update, but it is the coolest computer I have ever owned (Jeff's laptop doesn't count). It is much faster than the pentium two I have had for a couple of years, and much much faster than the 386 walking windows 95 that I had for most of college... :-) My dad has always worked in the computer industry (as either a hardware guy or a programmer) so I always got the hand me down computers (granted I have had a computer when most people I knew didn't, but I had my dad's newest computer to compare it to every time I went home... ;-)
