Got it! I forgot you had a push mower. We have an old electric mower that you can borrow if you don't want to rent a mower. I think we have used if for mulching before, but we usually wait too long until the grass is too long to mulch without like 15 passes... :-) We just need to coordinate...

Good luck on the roses. I've never been able to propagate things that way. I like roses too, but I think I would be irritated if they were in my veggie garden too. I suppose you could always transplant them this fall or next spring. But, if I remember correctly, they are big. That would be A LOT of work! Aren't yards fun?!?!?
