Work was pretty good yesterday. It was a nice class (small self-contained class of 10). The teacher was very nice, understanding that I didn't know my way around the school. (My last job, the teacher just sent me off to the unknown gym with a group of 3 year-olds to tell me how to get there. I'm still not sure that the way we went is the way they are supposed to go). The kids were pretty good (other than the 2 kids that stole pizza. The teacher didn't get it--those two kids are usually really good...). All in all, I had fun.
Poor Jeff, though. He found a bus that picked him up 2 blocks from work and went to the Northgate transit center. Unfortunately, it wasn't a freeway route (wound around greenlake and such), and he missed his 377 connection at Northgate. Even though he left work at 2, he didn't get home until I did at almost 4... Ever since they moved his work schedule to the 5-2 shift, he has had difficulties with busses...(can't take them in the morning, and they don't work out well in the afternoon.) sigh
When Jeffrey came back from Kehf's house, he brought a rice warm-pack that Kehf and Ieva made. It's absolutely marvelous! I think it was made for necks, but I love using it on my feet. Especially at bedtime. I warmed it up and put it in bed about 5 min before I got in. MMMMMM...... Warm toes.... I'm going to have to do that every night. My toes are still happy! Thanks, Kehf!
Today should be pretty quiet. I'm going to work on budged and dishes. Maybe some games thrown in. No real plans.
