(no subject)

Well, I thought I was getting better yesterday morning... So I decided to do stuff. I finished the laundry, did some exercise, did the weekly grocery shopping, made dinner (soup and sandwiches... mmmm...) and went to the movie. Somewhere along the line, my sinuses filled up. ouch. ( all teh gory details... )

Jeff decided that the combination of late night and feeling like he might be catching my cold was grounds to call in sick. I didn't argue because that meant I could sleep in until 9. (considering that my body doesn't usually let me sleep past 7:30, I think that I'm still sick.)

Jeffrey made me waffles for breakfast. Then he played and did some foundation work while I read and then slept. I slept for 2 more hours. Wow. After a bit of light yardwork (i.e. sitting on a pad and pulling grass out of some flower beds, Jeffrey and I decided to go spend our REI rebate money. We went to the Seattle flagship store. WOW!!!!! It's like 3 times the size of any other REI store I've ever been to. It's like taking a kid to a giant candy store. We grabbed a whole bunch of stuff and then had to decide what we really wanted. We ended up with 3 pair of Smartwool socks, new superfeet inserts for Jeffrey, and a camping waffle iron (Can you tell that I really like waffles?). I love rebate...

Well, I think we are both going to bed early tonight. I want to get better soon...
