Mar. 10th, 2003 09:05 amYay for me! i just finished my exercise. Now I just have to get everything else on my to do list done. Those include the budget, bills, yardwork, and grocery shopping.
I have several plants to plant. Jeff and I were over at Sears on Saturday and realized that customer appreciation days were on. That meant everything in the store was at least 10% off. So I bought a shovel. That means I can return Kehf's shovel. Now I can bury the post for the trellis and dig the big holes to plant the 2 clematis in. We also made it to Sky Nursrey this weekend to spend the housewarming gift certificate from Kehf, David, and Ieva. I bought a bunch of strawberries, some pretty golden lemon thyme, and some sweet violets. Yay! Now to plant them. I also need to find somewhere that sells my cheap, plastic trellis netting. Jeff said he didn't see any up at Walmart last weekend which is where I usually buy it at. hmmmm.... The other thing to do in the yard is get the soaker and drip lines set up. the trellis will cover the back spigot. I'll be able to turn on the water, but changing the hose might be hard. So I am going to have a drip line set up to water the flowers and vegetables. But since I also have grocery shopping to do, that project may wait for tomorrow...
Last night I tried a new recipe where you marinate a pork roast in a combo of chopped apple, apple juice, honey, garlic, rosemary, and green onion. I didn't know if I would like that combination of sweet and savory, but it was really good. Mark came over and shared it with us. He brought a nummy cake to go after the meat, asparagus (which I have discovered that I really like), jello, and bread. The others we invited over decided not to come and went to Dennys instead... Sucks for them. They missed out on a good meal. thpbthpppbb! More leftovers for me. Especially the jello!
Well, I have work to do!
