Mar. 18th, 2003 07:27 amTime for some more sewing. I decided I was tired of being depressed every time I went looking for new clothes. So I went to JoAnn's and found some great fabric at some great prices. Got enough for a couple of shirts, a couple of dresses, and a long vest. Yea! Now I just gotta wait for the patterns to go on sale...(they'll all be $.99 instead of $6 in a couple of weeks. And I already have the pattern for one so I can start on that...) Maybe Kehf will let me come over and use her sewing machine. That's something I need to get one of these days... Or maybe my mom will be done sewing and I can borrow her machine this weekend. We'll just have to see...
I woke up this morning with a nast headache. Migrane I think. I got Jeff to work, came home, took one of those migrane (asprine + caffiene) pills and went back to bed. Seems to have worked. My head feels much better. I'll probably try to take it a little easy today, though.
I have a church activity tonight that has an international theme. I volunteered to do a Celtic centerpiece. I stuffed some socks with newspaper and put them in my gillies (Scottish folk dance shoes). I'm thinking of positioning them on my bodhran along with a loaf of soda bread, my tin whistle, and a plaid. I think it will be cute.
