It's been a great weekend. My dad was up for an all day interview at Microsoft on Friday. So he joined us up here in Shoreline for some dinner. Then he came back yesterday morning for a family tradition of going to Denny's for breakfast (we like to go anytime we go anywhere or have family come to visit... The only time I really go to Denny's... :-). Afterward, Jeff and I finished getting the house ready for guests. I made bread and cumin chicken (I made cupcakes Friday night). Then I started watching Pride and Predjudice again while waiting for people to come over. It was a very fun birthday party. Kehf, David, and Auntie were there, as well as J'wyl, Sky, Brom, Gene, and Miertam, not to mention Loki and children. We didn't end up playing any games, but sitting and chatting was very good. I did give a tour of my yard. Sky also cooked (yes, I know. GASP!) cheesy potatoes that were scrumptious! He needs to cook more often :-)

So today is meeting day. I've finished with the first set, and now I'm getting ready for the next set. But I have everything taken care of so I can be at Norwescon next weekend without worrying about missing anything. Right now I am winding down. I'm going to play a bit of solitaire for a few minutes. fun.
