(no subject)

Yea! The hammock is finally in! I had a marvelous 45 minutes reading in the hammock in the back yard. Scrumptious! I have always loved hammocks, to the point that I spent nearly every night (and many an afternoon) for an entire summer sleeping in a hammock on the back porch (mom was really tolerant that summer. She never let me do that again...). So a couple of years ago, Jeffrey bought me a hammock--two person even! But we haven't had anywhere to hang it, and it is too long for a traditional hammock stand.

Today, we put eyebolts in two pine trees in the back yard and hung the hammock! I think I'll celebrate! (but not by sleeping out yet. It still gets a bit too cold... :-)
