Planet X is pulling the earth away from the sun! You can tell because the sun is rising later! This must mean that the days are getting shorter because we are getting farther away from the sun!!!!!!!
Sigh. Official sunrise time is 5:36. This means that it is still dark at 4:30 when Jeff and I leave, and the sky is only starting to get light at 5:15 when I get home. I remember not too long ago when sunrise was about 5 am. It was great because it was light driving Jeffrey into work, and then I could come home and do yardwork and stuff because it was light outside. Darn axial tilt! :-)
Valentine and I had set up yesterday as a playdate. He can be very cute: like when I asked if he had a calendar to compare dates and he brought over his block calendar. great for telling what today is, not so great for comparing schedules... :-) Lucky for me, he was in a mellow "lets play wheel of fortune" mood. I was a little worried that he would want to be outside playing basketball and baseball in the heat. He also showed me his cool book that shows pictures of 6 or 7 birds and then has a computer that plays back thier birdcalls. The playback was good enough that I actually recognized several birds by the call alone... (kildere, chickadee, and bob white). Then I got to have a nice visit with Kehf before leaving to pick up Jeffrey from work.
( computer and music fun )
I think today is going to be a quiet work at the computer sort of day...
Life is good!
