I'm happy about the rain. Really. My lawn needs the water (as well as the rest of my yard), the reservoirs need the water, the mountains need the snow. I'm glad it's raining. And if I keep saying it enough, maybe I'll believe it.

The gray depresses me. the wind sometimes startles me. the rain keeps the kids in our class inside where they proceed to drive us crazy. Today was really a day. One of the kids had something going on in his life and screamed and screamed and screamed. and threw stuff. and hit/kicked/bit. and finaly had to be restrained. He spent the rest of the day by himself in our second classroom. good, except that that meant A) one of the two full time, regular staff (the teacher is out for the week and the other regular is out for a cornea transplant) had to be with him the entire day and B) that classroom was off limits for the other kids who had to be contained and entertained in one classroom...

I'm so glad today is over.

I'm glad tomorrow is Friday, but not happy that I have to go back...

I'm glad that Jeffrey and I are going to try to go see Finding Nemo at the Crest tonight.

I'm mad that I drove up to Lynnwood to have my sewing machine serviced (part of the extended waranty I bought with it) only to find that the power was out.

I wish there were more whole chips and fewer crumbs in the bag I'm working on.

Anyone have a rock big enough for me to hide under?

on a happier note, while shopping at Safeway today, we found Chatfield's Cocoa powder. For those who don't know, Chatfield is my maiden name. We bought one just for the name... :-)
