Nov. 13th, 2003 11:18 amI didn't get a call again today. Although my bank book wishes I would, I'm kind of glad because I really needed to work on Pam's column update. She decided that she wants to be able to comment on each column instead of having everything in the guest book. ( geekiness here )
I'm getting ready to run some errands. Our towel rack in the bathroom pulled out of the wall day before yesterday (whoever put all the stuff up did NOT know how to properly put things into the wall. Yes, they have the grabber hardwar for putting up on sheetrock. No they didn't install it correctly. this ISN'T the first thing to come out of the wall.) it's one of those ones that the side bars hold in the horizontal. So when the side piece pulled out, the horizontal fell. On Jeffrey's toe! I was thinking about replacing it with a much sturdier rack, but I just don't feel like spending that much money. My solution? head over to Fred Meyer for some Command Strip hooks. The towels can hang on hooks. No new holes in the wall and-more importantly-the hooks will cost about 5 bucks instead of 15-30. So that's my next destination.
I'm also going to try to get more yard work done while the sun still shines...
After work, Jeffrey and I will be going to get our rings checked and cleaned, then we'll be heading over to REI... fun!
And that's what I have planned (and the best part of going out will be that I'll be in places warmer than my house... 55 is cold!)
