life is good!
Nov. 30th, 2003 09:57 pmAfter a sad day of staying home by myself on Friday, I had a great weekend.
Saturday was Christmas tree day. We went to Fred Meyer and found a nice cut tree (the first one I picked up, actually). Now it's decorated and on the timer. I also made spritz cookies and gingerbread dough, and then Jeffrey and I went to Gene's place for dinner and games. I mostly talked or played on the computer or worked on my steampunk character. I watched someone play cribbage for the first time. I'm in the black magic school. It doesn't make any sense to me...
Today there was a potluck after church. Jeffrey went with me and we had a lot of fun. Then it was clean the house time so that I could have my Christmas card making party. Kehf, Auntie, and Pam came over and we spent a couple of hours creating cards. It was fun being crafty and chit chatting. This is definitely on my to do again list...
And tomorrow is another work week. I think I'll be spending the day getting my resume together so I can take it to a temp agency or two. I don't think I'm going to rely on the school district for income anymore...
