Woo Hoo!!! Friday!

And, yes, I'm a recess teacher again today... I suppose it could be worse... I could be getting no hours like Jen (or like last week). it just seems silly to have 2 1/2 hours of work in a 3 hour time slot in the middle of the day.

Had fun making dinner last night. made a chicken pasta salad that my family loves.

tonight I'm trying a new pasta recipe that involves shrimp and red peppers and spinach. I'll have to tell you how it goes.

Oh, and I'm off to make cookie variety number 3! (I'm thinking chocolate cookie bars. different from yesterday's chocolate sticks...)

And tonight I need to make cinnamon rolls! yea! cooking!!!!

It's cinnamon roll time! Woo Hoo! I love cinnamon rolls. Especially my grandma's that was probably at least her mom's recipe. I know it sounds wierd, but the recipe uses mashed potatos. the finished product is very moist. My mom made them every year and we would always have one Christmas morning.

I'm making them to take to the church Christmas breakfast tomorrow.

I also made chocolate cookie bars this morning (blondie bar with melted chocolate on top... mmmm... another one my mom made at Christmas time every year... :-)
