Once again, Jeffrey is NOT working the day after Christmas!!! Hallelujah! And I don't think that there is any possibility of this guy not working for Speakeasy any more... I get to send another plate of thank you cookies.
Jeffrey and I will be driving his family's Christmas presents up to his sister's house tonight. That should be fun. I don't think we'll make it to Arlington, though. Probably stop at Sky's place on the way back and say hi.
We had fun last night. We have been looking for a copy of Civilization 2 for Jeffrey's nephews who discovered it on Thanksgiving (Jeffrey was playing it). It's a pretty old game, and the only way to currently get it is in a 4 pack of other games. Sometimes, you can find old games at Half Price Books. But the ones by where we live are kind of small. So we headed over to the Redmond Half Price. Jackpot! I also found some old Christmas CD's for pretty cheap. I really like one of them, mostly like the instrumental one (it will be nice in the playlist) and liked a couple of tracks of the third. I haven't listened to A Christmas Carol yet (read by Sir Lawrence Olivier and guests... :-). Good times.
We also stopped at Coldstone in Crossroads mall. I've been good and havn't been there in months. So we splurged. It was really good! I had sweet cream mixed with brownies and pie filling cherries. mmmm.... Jeff's was also really good: white chocolate/vanilla bean ice cream with white chocolate chips and marshmellows. I think I'll have the ice cream combo with my brownies and cherries next time. It was really good!
Anyway, time to get back to work. I was bad and played on the computer much of the morning. There is still much to do... sigh... :-) But I do have almost all the Christmas cards ready to go out! I have to make a few more, and track down a couple of addresses, but I'm almost done! big project... :-)
