We're home safe and sound from Portland. It was a nice holiday. A little busy, but NICE! One of the highlights was going to see the Nutcracker. My crazy brother got me, Mom, Diane, and Jeff tickets to see the Nutcracker. Nice tickets! Every year I dream about going to see the show, but I can never seem to afford it. But this year I got to go! And I got to wear new clothing. Mom took me over to JC Penny's cause I needed new sweat pants (mine died Christmas Day). While we were there, I found a couple of really pretty outfits and was wishing I could afford them. M0om said Merry Christmas and bought them for me! I was so surprised I almost cried. I haven't gotten to buy new clothes for a while, so it was a big treat! Yea!!!!!!

I also sat down and made a bunch of thank you cards. I'm even going to try to get them out this year... I always mean to try and send out thank you cards, but it never seems to happen...

Favorite gifts of the season: Neverwinter Hordes of the Underdark, Josh Groban CD, Stamping accessories, Nutcracker tickets, new clothes.

Notable mentions: gift cards to Half Price Books, Costco, Sky Nursery; Pirates of the Carribean, Extended version of Two Towers (both given to Jeffrey)

Funniest: set of 3 nesting sewing baskets and thread from Jeffrey's mom, 4 different colored snowflake plates :-)

There were many other presents. All of them were wonderful, and all will be used and cherished!
