Quiet Day

I'm going to sew today. I did enough paying work the last 3 days that I don't have to work at the schools today or tomorrow. Tomorrow's going to be busy getting prepared for my Stampin' Up! party on Saturday, so I'm going to relax today and sew! I want to have one of my skirts finished by tonight. That's my goal... :-) I think it's going to be a good day. And a good day to stay inside. If the weather clears, I might go do some yard work, but we'll have to see... :-)

Well, I'm not done with the skirt, but I'm close! I wasn't nearly as far along to start with as I thought. Then I ran out of thread and had to go to JoAnn's. Where I had to talk myself out of buying some fabric that I'm in love with. I finally did it, but it took a while... sigh... I just don't know what I'd do with it right now. And I need to finish the projects that I have... :-)

So I have one more lower leg section to put on and sew in place on my split skirt. Then all I have to do is put in the elastic waist. All the other seams are finished and hemmed and everything! Go me! To bad I probably won't finish tonight. But I will finish tomorrow morning. Then I'll spend time getting ready for my Stampin' Up! workshop on Saturday morning. It promises to be fun. And I have more than one person coming! Go Me!!! :-)
