The big excitement of the day was that our ward choir performed today. In some ways the song was pretty easy, but in other ways hard. It was easy because a lot of the song is in unison (either unison women or unison whole choir). Hard because there were a few difficult jumps that I seemed to be the only alto getting... And because the range in the unison bits was too high for me. In fact, I dropped down an octave in the last section and sang unison with the men because I couldn't hit more than 1/2 the notes in the women's range... sigh... And I solved the interval problem by not standing by a couple of people. I stood by the piano and behind most of the women so I couldn't hear them as loud... :-)

Other than that, it's been a quiet sunday. Jeffrey is down at the Seatac Doubletree doing a Norwescon registration training and practice. I would have gone too, but then I would have had to miss church. And I REALLY didn't want to take (and pay for) 2 cars down there. So I came home and have been working. Both paid and housework. I have veggie soup cooking in the crockpot and most of my Stampin' Up! supplies from yesterday out of the way. I'm currently taking a break from the paid work to rest my brain. For some reason, I'm really tired... :-) I can stay up late, but I don't do very well the next day...

I'm glad that there is no school tomorrow. That means that I don't have to feel guilty for turning down sub jobs. And I can get some work done around the house. It really needs it!
