It's wet out there! But I'm still proud to say that I did my exercise and walked this morning. Even with my cold...

But I had hot oatmeal mixed with granola instaed of cold yogurt mixed with granola for breakfast. And that hot shower is sounding better and better... I just need to get the beef stew for dinner in the crockpot first. Mmmm.... It's a perfect stew day!

I was so proud of myself this morning. I bagged up the rest of the Halloween candy (all of it chocolate!) and sent if off to work with Jeffrey. That way I'm not sitting around the house and munching on it all day.

Today is also going to be busy. I have paying work to do, swaps to make for a group meeting tomorrow, dinner to make, and I need to clean the living area of the house for company tonight. Oh yea. Can't forget that whole voting thing... :-)

And then there's more of the whole theft thing to work on. I've made up an inventory of all the stuff stolen out of my car. Now I need to work on replacement prices for a bunch of it. I already have replacement prices for the things I can find online. But there are some things that I am actually going to have to go to a store to look up. Gasp! The shock of having to go somewhere! Not REI! Don't make me go to REI! Something might jump into my hands and beg to go home! :-) Same with Walmart! :-)

And I'm still working on the ID thing. I need to go get a new social security card. I need to get a passport photo so that I can get a new passport. I need to write away and get new copies of my birth cirtificate and marriage liscence... grr... the frustration of it all.

Around and through all of this, I'm also supposed to be working. You know. That whole money thing... How is a body supposed to get everythig done, I want to know? Ah well. I suppose that this too, shall pass... :-)

a mug of hot soup on a cold wet day... I wouldn't mind the rainy weather as much if it didn't leave our house so cold. It hasn't hit 60 inside yet. I know that is still warmer than outside, but... The kerosene heater is WONDERFUL, but fuel is expensive enough that we try to only turn it on in the evening. And even then, we only get the house up to 68 or so.

Hence the wonderfulness of warm soup. And stew for dinner. mmm..... Yea for warm! Warm tummy, warm hands... comfort food at it's best! :-)

Whew!

I just finished voting... I'm glad to participate, but I'm also glad I'm done. Now I only need to decide whether to mail it or find a polling place to drop it off... :-)

In other news, I got some good paying work done. Now it's time to do some cleaning. And some stamping, since that was going to be my reward for doing the paying work... ;-)

Off to finish the rest of the day!
