I shouldn't be so excited, but WOOT!!! I just got a reprieve from the school today! I thought it was kind of odd that they asked me to call the sub director and work on my own job. That's not something I've ever been asked to do. So I called and left a message with her when I got home. I called in this morning, and she had heard NOTHING from the school. So she put in an urgent call to the principal trying to find out what was going on and what they needed. I just called back (I have to leave now if I'm going to get there in time), and she still hasn't heard anything. So she told me not to worry about today. She'll still call if she finds out anything, but WOOHOO!

I've gotten a reprieve! I have a day to do some cleaning for our dinner guests tonight. Time to actually do a decent job making dinner instead of throwing things together and hoping they work... Time to do better paying work than the school district without feeling stressed... I'll probably do another bike run up to a couple of grocery stores for a couple of items I didn't realize I was out of...

Halleleujah!!!

with that, I better get to it!

So I ended up working at the school after all... sigh... So much miscommunication going on. I'm not terribly impressed. With either the school or the sub office. Hopefully, this is all due to the beginning of school and things will get better. In the mean time, I'm on day to day notice. I probably won't find out until sometime tomorrow morning what I'm going to be doing tomorrow.

Anywho... I didn't get to the grocery store. I did ride my bike to the school, so I got some exercise in. I did get dinner made (although I would have been a lot happier if I had been able to start it at noon instead of 3:30...). The dinner guests went away happy. I'm vegging right now.

I'll take tomorrow as it comes. Outside the school, other paying work is a top priority. So is some cleaning. We're thinking of celebrating Jeffrey's first paycheck by going to dinner at Mr. Gyros. Mmmm... Gyros... :-)

I called home and had a fun chat with both my mom and my dad. It was good to talk to them again! One of these days I'll remember to call my sister before it's like 10:30 in Utah. Ok. I know. She's a college student in the dorms and is probably still up. But I still don't like to call late!

And so, life moves on.
