May. 12th, 2006 12:19 amIt's almost time to go home and see my Jeffie! Tomorrow morning I have to finish the cards for the people that had to leave early, pack my car, check out some cards mom wants me to see, and take my brother to the donut place. Then I'm so outta here! :-) It's not that I don't love my family, it's that I miss my boy!
So I did another card class today. I gotta work with these people some more. I either need to make the cards easier or get more strict with them. They keep needing to leave early or having something come up so that they can't finish their cards. I've given people in the past a choice to take the packet or have me make the cards when they can't finish. I don't mind making an extra card or two, but more than a dozen? I think that's a bit overkill... I don't know what I'm gonna do, but it's gonna be something!
My family went out to dinner at my favorite Portland Chineese restaraunt (China Bay). Their food is WAY nummy! :-) I had beef broccoli and split it with my mom who got sweet and sour shrimp. I found a place where the sweet and sour shrimp isn't a huge blob of tempura with a bit of shrimp inside. I think the shrimp had some tempura, but it was mostly shrimp. Tasty shrimp at that! :-) The beef broccoli was also pretty good, and the house special chow mein is to die for! I didn't think I liked chow mein in any way, shape, or form before I tried theirs. MMmmm... My brother has also found a dish he likes: honey prawns. It's tempura prawns in a yummy honey sauce. It's pretty dang good...
Mom and I worked on cards most of the evening. She wanted to use several of my stamp sets to make some cards, so she finished her cards while I worked on the class cards. It was fun talking with my mom while we were working away!
Yea. So it's late and I'm getting kind of loopy. I just know that tomorrow night I'll be with my boy again. And sleeping in my own bed. Yea!
