I'm afraid I made up for the last few very busy weeks by having a rather unproductive week so far.

Each day hasn't been a total waste. I did at least one important thing each day... Too bad I left a bunch of smaller, items undone every day. Monday I made phone calls but didn't fold the laundry. Yesterday I paid bills but didn't make bread. Today I made bread, but I still haven't folded laundry... And so on and so forth...

But I did get some very relaxing reading in! And Jeff and I walked to work every day this week!

We decided to splurge and go out to dinner last night. Our friend Loki talked up a Mexican place down Broadway, so we went there (I was kind of tired of pizza and burgers!). It was a pretty small place. Just a dozen or so small tables. They were playing traditional Mexican music and the waiter had a very heavy Mexican accent... I thought the food was pretty good. Not the best I've ever eaten, but just what I was wanting. They did have some funny things on their menu, though. Whoda thunk 'ostrich fajita' was a "traditional mexican dish"?!? Or several of the other ostrich menu items. I laughed when Jeff said, "No, not ostrich... Emu!"

So, I read today. I finished a very nice trilogy that I have enjoyed many times. Sing the Light, Sing the Warmth, Recieve the Gift. Without getting up to look at the author, I think it is Louse Marley. And I remember someone saying at some point that she is a local. Can't verify that, but I do enjoy the books!

I also made bread today. It is in the oven and smelling wonderful. I had to make it today since I planned grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner. Kind of hard to make that without bread! :-) Besides. I've been looking forward to fresh bread all week! :-) Too bad I didn't get around to cooking the beans for tomorrow's dinner... We're having the missionaries over again, and one of them is from Brazil. So I'm making black beans and rice again! :-)

Ok. I can tell I'm rambling. I best get going. I need to get some paying work done before I head over to the youth group activity I now help with...
