Sep. 18th, 2006 10:38 pmYea! I'm officially a good citizen! I just filled out my ballot! Tomorrow morning I'll drop them off after my workout at Curves (there is a box at the QFC right next door!)
Don't forget that tomorrow is election day in Washington!
Speaking of Curves, as of this morning I have been 28 times (since August 2nd)! Go me! I've even been biking the last couple of weeks. Tomorrow morning I'll need to pump up my tire before I can go though. It's getting a bit flat.
Today was about work. I did a bunch of paying work and burned through several batches of digitizing. Still pretty mind numbing, but that's totally ok!
Last weekend was pretty fun. I had my card class Saturday morning. Immediately after that was finished, Jeff and I piled into J'wyl's car and headed down to the concom meeting. Traffic was pretty sucky. I guess there was a football game or 2 going on. It took us an hour and a half! But it was good to see people. I also got to show off the specialness that was the StarTrek convention book...
After the meeting, we packed up and headed over to Pandora house for the round robin/writer's night. It was GREAT to see people! We even got to see CD briefly! Unfortunately, that's where I found out that I accidentally forgot my laptop power cord at the Norwescon meeting. Luckily, Scotty picked it up and we're arranging a pickup. But writer's night was still fun anyway.
Sunday was the dreaded talk. It actually went pretty well. I'm glad it's done, though, and it will probably be a while before I get tapped to talk again... Whew!
Bother... I just realized that the one thing I didn't do today was fold the Huuuuuuuge Pile Of Laundry (tm). I guess that's one of tomorrow's tasks!
