I like quiet days. Really, I do...
Yesterday ended up being quite busy. I went to Curves first thing (I just realized that I've been going to Curves consistently for 2 months now! Go me!) Then I came home and grabbed my purse and left for the grocery shopping marathon. I've been doing very minimalistic grocery shopping for the last few weeks. I found that I was needing a few extra things (especially since I have some serious baking to do this weekend for the birthday-palooza). That and Albertsons was having a sweet $1 days sale. So I went to Top food for a couple of things (and to price some other things), down to Centeral Market in Mill Creek, over to Walmart for a couple of other things, up to Priscilla's house to deliver a stamp set, over to Albertsons, down to Costco (where I was shocked to not buy a single thing!), back over to Top foods to purchase the shrimp that were a very good deal there, off to Safeway, and then finished off at the produce market. Whew!
Then I came home and started making some french bread for dinner (cheese fondue). At that point, I was starving. So I cooked up some rice and had some leftover sweet and sour TVP (instead of chicken). I read for a bit, worked on things around the house, and worked on the bread.
For date night, Jeff and I watched the 2nd disc of the Babylon 5 3rd series. There were some pretty good episodes. And I want to strangle that stupid political officer. She makes me madder than Bestor... :-) I suppose that's the mark of a good actor, though.
Today has been much quieter. I went to Curves (and showed off my wedding scrapbook to a couple of the ladies who had asked to see it). I came home and ate. I played on my computer for a bit until I started falling asleep. I took a nap. I read a bit. I just ate lunch. Banquet lasagna tastes much better if you put parmesan cheese on it.
Now I'm off to be productive. The laundry is started and I have a list of tasks that needs doing. Should still be nice and quiet, though!
