(no subject)

Last night after dinner, Katherine and I watched a movie. My neighbor had talked about Netflix, but I didn't know if it was on the way or somewhere in the house that I hadn't found yet. So I looked to see what was available. Now Katherine likes bluegrass/appalachian music (like that in O Brother Where Art Thou). She also likes documentaries. One of the movies I found in the collection cracked me up. A Mighty Wind. A mockumentary! :-) So we watched that last night.

Dementia is a funny thing. It was really hard not to laugh cause I knew that it was all acting and not real, but she kept going on and on about how this was all true and this was how the music all started out. But she really enjoyed listening to the folk music played and enjoyed the movie... I have to admit that there are parts of the movie I don't really like, but I do really enjoy the music as well. :-)

This morning, though getting to bed a little later than usual, she was up and raring to go around 7. I think she would have liked to get up earlier, but...

Well, I need to go do some watering and then get to the paying work.
