yea for good changes of plans!

Mom just called to say that she's not going to be able to make it up for our planned camping trip next weekend. My brother and sister-in-law and their way cute kids are coming up to do some playing in Portland that weekend and my mom really wants to be there. So, instead, she just paid for a train ticket for me to come down and play!

I'll head down Wednesday afternoon (the 11th) and come back Saturday morning. Instead of coming all the way to the Seattle station on Saturday, I'll get off at the Tacoma station. Jeff will pick me up there and then we'll go to the Norwescon Volunteer Picnic! (yea! I was sad that I was going to miss it...)

So, it looks like Jeff is going to have to work tomorrow to cover for a guy who's out sick. The bad part is working for 10 hours on a day off. the good part is having the entire shift be overtime... It's good to cover for this guy because he's the one who covered for Jeff last Friday when we went on vacation... :-)
