Happy Thanksgiving, All! May we all find many things to be thankful for, today and all year.

I'm most thankful for family.

I'm grateful for my dearest, most wonderful Jeffrey. He is so patient, kind, and caring. I am so not perfect, and yet he loves me no matter what. His eyes are way better mirrors than anything else in the house. :-)

I'm grateful that my family lives fairly close. I love being able to go down and visit them. They are some of the coolest people I know! I'm also grateful that my fun, twin-separated-at-birth sister could be home and that we can share some fun laughs. I'm also really grateful that my brother and his cute family could come visit. It was so much fun spending time with them yesterday and I'm really looking forward to seeing them again tomorrow.

I'm grateful for wonderful friends. People who I can hang out with and fit in with. People who I can call on for help when I need it and who feel comfortable calling me for help.

I'm grateful for our warm house. A house that is more than just shelter from the stuff falling from the sky. A house that is dry and insulated and which has 3 wire electric outlets all through! :-)

There is a whole lot more that I'm thankful for, but those are the biggies. :-)

(no subject)

Well, after much wrangling of the server box, I still don't have my webspace active and usable... One of the reasons I have wanted to get it up and running is because I store my wishlist there. It is getting to the time of year when people look at me and ask, "So... what do you want for Christmas this year?" Unfortunately, whenever I get that question, everything I have been thinking about flees my brain and doesn't come back for hours. It is much easier to keep a wishlist up and update it as needed... :-)

Anyway, since I manage another website, I got permission from the owner to host my wishlist at her site until I get mine back up and running...

So, I present the Cornish Wishlist mk1. As usual, mine is more up to date then Jeffrey's--he can never think of anything except when we are far away from computers and the ability to update wishlists... :-)

And now, it's time to do a bit of tidying in the living room in preparation of the arrival of my dearest who is even now on the road down to join me. He promises to be safe driving and take rest breaks if he needs to... :-)

And I better hurry if I want to get enough sleep. I like to join my mom for the After Thanksgiving Sales, although we refuse to try and get anywhere earlier than 5...

tomorrow is going to be a jam packed but fun day. There will be so much cuteness we won't know what to do with ourselves! :-)
