So, we had the missionaries over for dinner. I had already planned on serving black beans and rice. It just so happened that one of the elders was born in Brazil! He loved it! He raved over it and said I made it just like his mom did! Woot for me! I love making people happy. I also love using exclamation points... :-)

So it was a fun meal. I have 2 more cards to finish tonight so I can upload them and get my newsletter sent out. It's important to get it out since my card class is early this month. it's this coming Saturday! wow!

Way to go and very cool. The one time I served black beans and rice and one of the missionaries was from Brazil, he was so excited to have something that tasted like home, he had his companion take his picture with his meal in hand. Makes you feel really good. Glad your evening was fun. Mom
