I either have a really sudden cold or my first identifyable allergy attack... I haven't been officially tested for allergies yet, but my dad has them. We sound an awful lot alike first thing in the morning. The issues I've had so far are mostly just getting really congested (like can't breathe through my nose at all) after laying down at night.
Yesterday was really wierd. I would be fine sitting inside. But every time I went out I was immediatly stuffed up. Then I thought I had an eyelash bent out of shape and made the mistake of rubbing my eyes. A couple hours later I got to experience sore, itchy eyes. Probably a mild case of them, but there you go. I took an antihistimine. That sort of helped except then I was not congested but still feeling all muzzy in the head.
I still went to the work meeting and was even productive. Toward the end, I had another cup of the yummy herbal tea that Kristin has. It was nice but made me sleepy. We went to central market after work meeting and picked up the bulk food groceries I like to get there. I also picked up the yummy tea. I slept most of the way home.
Walking to work was really hard this morning. I feel all draggy and muzzy. Kind of like things are sloshing around in my head. The funny thing is that I feel all drugged up even though the only thing I've taken is 1 antihistimine...
I often get summer colds this time of year. I wonder if I've had allergies for years and only just recognized them? I also wonder if that's why I've been less than spectacularly productive this week...
Anywho. I've got the beans cooking for dinner tonight. I have the house opened up to take advantage of the cool air outside. I've had my cup of nummy tea. I may go back to bed for a bit...
I do have to do some cleaning today (as we are having the missionaries over for dinner). I also need to do some paying work. The UPS truck should be stopping by today with new stuff! Yea for new stuff! I should stop rambling and go take a nap...
