well, as often happens after I come down off a stress roller coaster, I'm sick. Just in time for Jeff's sister's wedding too. Luckily, it will be a small celebration. It's not the worst cold I've ever had, just annoying.
The con was good, if really odd for me. I did lots of volunteering, but in places away from crowds. I spent a lot of time watching the server room, Rory's daughter, and helping in the office. Everyone was really sweet. I can't thank them enough!
The funeral was very nice. To me it felt like more of a emotionally happy remembery type funeral rather than the really sad kind. Grandpa had a long, full life with lots of accomplishments. I even learned some new things about him! And it was very nice to see most of the family again. I even got to see my brother and sister-in-law and their really cute kids! Heck, I even got to see and hang out with John!
Diane and I, of course, got to spend some quality hyper time together. I was supposed to pick her up around midnight on Saturday night, but her flight got delayed. Instead she got in around 1. We were SO hyper on the way home! When we saw that the Shari's by our house was still open, we went in and had milkshakes and cheese sticks. They were yummy, but made better because we were together and being silly. It also made it easier to calm down a little faster once we got home... :-)
This week has been pretty quiet. Monday after tear-down, we went to Tubbs for some relaxing time. Then we went to Mr. Gyro's to celebrate my birthday a day early. It was wonderfully yummy as always. My birthday was very quiet. Jeff and I went out to Changs for lunch. I celebrated the rest of the day by not doing laundry and playing as much WoW as I wanted... Wednesday, I went to Curves once before I started getting sick. Yesterday and today are kind of quiet, be creative and get my card class designed (among other things)sort of days.
