FWIW, a sweet potato is just a deep yellow color; what most folks think are sweet potatoes are really garnet yams (which I prefer; they have a more intense flavor, if you can call a yam intense)...
Hm. Olive oil and italian seasoning. Have to run that one by cflute, who likes her yams savory (I like'em roasted (or nuked, if I'm in a hurry, which I often am) and split open with butter and brown sugar and cinnamon. But then, I like a lot of things sweet that folks like savory...
