I really felt for some of the men being interviewed. There was a Jewish man on who talked about going to war because he had heard the the Nazis were doing awful things to the Jews in Europe. He was one of the men who found one of the prison camps. He couldn't look at the camera for most of that segment. My heart really went out to him.

My dad's dad talked about his experiences in China, but I think that was after the war was officially over. I don't think either grandpa ever was in a combat zone, but I still wish I had thought to ask them what it was like during that time.
