The once touted $199 Eee pc is now essentially a $399 computer. I was excited about buying the lappy at $199 to use as an electronic planner. $299 was stretching it. I just heard this morning, however, that the 2Gb model is going to sell for $349 and the 4Gb model for $399. At that price I can't really justify it anymore. Especially right now when funds are tight.

So, it looks like I'm back to a paper planner and coming up with some way of getting Jeff's google calendar to work with my offline one.

In other news, we had a pretty nice, laid back Halloween this year. I decided long before the date that I wasn't buying candy this year and thus didn't even want to be home that evening. We went over to Gene and Mike's for pizza and a movie. I loved watching the old Bugs Bunny cartoons. You have to have cartoons before the movie! :-) For our main feature, we watched Tremors. It was about as intense as I can handle without leaving the room... But I did find the Making Of featurette to be kind of cool. I didn't know anything about using miniature sets to do some of the filming and would never have guessed that they used them. So I learned something! :-)

Today I'm heading down to Puyallup to have a long work party on my friend Pam's website redesign. Jeff is going to come down and join us and we are making a slumber party out of it. We'll probably leave noonish tomorrow to get a few things done before heading back up to the Taipan Ed Board meeting.

I should get moving with stuff I need to do! :-)
