it was the first time I've messed with a bar fuse in a long long time. the powerbox actually had a big lever that pulled out what I assume is a big knife type switch. that was exciting as I'd not messed with it before, and I had to effect a small repair to a cable that actually hooked through the breaker mechanism. (next time you are over you should look at this rig, it's scary).

so, pulled the big switch, pulled out avery charred fuse and went to home despot to get a few replacements. popped the fuses back in and the dryer was now of happier functionality.
