I just finished out in the yard. Our yard isn't magically beautiful. The dandilions are still there. The grass still sucks. But, the grass and knee high dandelions are all mowed! I decided that it was the day for mowing. Jeff does the dishes, so I decided to mow. I felt nice and accomplished for the first half. Now I'm too tired to feel accomplished. I'm going to throw my clothes in the laundry and take a cool shower. Then maybe I can look at the yard and say "that looks good!"
I was expecting more overcast with showers today, which is one reason I decided to mow the lawn. I wanted our tall dandelions to go away before it got too wet to mow... It's hard wok pushing around the stupid mower on the not flat yard!
Off to freshen up.

on 2004-06-25 05:28 pm (UTC)The rose bushses are huge and thats part of the problem. I want to uproot them eventually and put them in large pots of their own. I think right in the front yard as a barrier between the parking and the yard would be good.
We'll see.
(and clearly though I'm still at work, I dont want to work anymore)
