computer woes

Poor Jeffrey. He was sitting on the couch working (read playing) on his laptop when it froze. It does that occaisionaly, so he rebooted. And it froze again. So he rebooted. Only it never came back up. We ended up taking it back to compusa (lucky we have a good waranty) where it was decided that the computer is overheating for whatever reason (no, it is NOT jeffrey's fault). He got it booted up enough to get a few documents, but not much (mostly work related). We didn't get the draft of my story off, so I guess I don't have anything to read at writer's night tomorrow (sorry Gene...). the Bum part is that he won't get his computer back for about 2 weeks. bummer. Jeffrey is trying to see if he can get his old computer working again in the mean time. He's been meaning to work on it...

I may be out of the loop for a bit as well. The next couple of days are booked solid, but we'll also be updating my operating system and all the fun that can go with that. Interesting times, eh?
