Sep. 19th, 2003 08:27 amIn case anyone is having a bad day, remember, It's Friday!!!!!!!
So I canned peaches last night. I got myself 6 quarts of beautiful gold-red peaches. I also have a bunch more peaches (and grapes) in the fridge waiting for the pears to finish ripening so that I can make fruit cocktail. Mmmm... Fruit cocktail. Also really good in Jello...
Yesterday at school was crazy! One of the (usually quiet) kids was having some kind of reaction to something and was totally out of control! Hitting, kicking, throwing, knocking desks over, spitting, crying, screaming (why does all the screaming have to be really high pitched?!?!?). At least he wasn't swearing... By lunch, he had finally calmed down. But it made for a very loud day, since the 2 other yeller/screamers were in fine fine form and the 2 little ones were *loudly* talkative (read baby talk into that) all day. I went home and played Neverwinter for a couple of hours to calm down... Unfortunately, that meant that the peaches weren't finished til late. I didn't get to bed until 11... Lucky me that I can go back to bed after Jeffrey goes off to work.
So I'm betting that the kids are going to be all out of it again today. It is Friday after all... I just have to keep in mind that Jeff and I are going up to
sora_kitsune's place to make dinner with him and jwyl tonight. That will definitely be fun. And before picking up Chuck for writer's night tomorrow, we'll shop Half-Price's 20% off sale! Yea!
And I gotta go or I'll be late for work!
