Oct. 21st, 2003 06:53 amLife has been busy... ( mini-whine here )
Anyway, last weekend was pretty fun. I spent a lot of time on my computer, something I have not been able to do in a while. Most of my time was spent doing more CGI tutorials. I'm trying to write a more complicated script (ok, modify a pre-written code so that it does what I want...). I didn't get it working, but it is pretty close.
I also got released from my job as music director at church! YEA!!!! No more performance based mini-panic attacks each week! Now I just have to keep track of where the missionaries are eating each day...
Writer's night was also fun. I made apple pie (it came out of the oven and we left, hoping not to be late. Lucky that Gene was running late too. :-). I'm not usually an apple pie fan, but I really liked this recipie. maybe part of it was the apples themselves. We got them at a roadside stand over in Eastern Washington. (that was the same stand where I discovered Honeycrisp apples. They are my new favorite! Expensive, but yummy!!!) anyway, I liked writer's night because I got to listen to some good stories, talk with friends, and eat nummy food.
I guess I better go. I have some work that needs doing before I go swim to work. Hopefully the staff parking lot won't be flooded so that I have a place to park. (or if it is flooded they'll cancel school... :-)
