mmmm.... Warm....
Oct. 22nd, 2003 06:34 pmWe broke out the kerosene heater Jeff's dad is lending us (for however long we need it). Ok, so it was still 67 in the house when I pulled it out and started it, but it was 60 outside and raining and dark gray. I wanted it warm and cozy in the house. So, an hour and a half later, it is not 73 and comfortable. I'm happy.
I'm also happy that the school day is over. There must have been something in the water. All the kids seemed bound and determined to throw temper-tantrums today. Most of them over stupid things... like another student being in the same room or soemthing... sigh. The earplugs got a lot of use today.
But it's Wednesday and the week is half over! Tomorrow my friend Pam is coming over. She is the one I do the website for (www.pamela-troeppl.com). She wants to see what HTML is all about and if it something she can learn. Pam feels bad because she can't pay me to work on her site (I developed and maintain it for free, but I use it in my portfolio. Eventually (when she and her husband have jobs), I'll charge a small maintenace fee...). Should be interesting, but fun. She'll also probably stay for dinner. She's excited to get away from her kids :-)
Oh. I got an update on the clouded leopard cubs from Pt. Defiance Zoo. They are both doing well, and will probably leave the zoo by Christmas to be placed at other zoos with potential mates. The zoo will be very sad to see them go... :-) (got that from the lady that I emailed my pictures to.)
