I Aten't dead
Sep. 13th, 2005 07:48 amReally. I'm just busy... So, while I was pricing stuff up at Michael's, I wandered into the yarn section like I randomly do. I like touching yarn to see if anyone has come up with anything really soft... This time, I found some sumptuous, fuzzy, bulky, sweater weight yarn. It was so soft and wonderful that I wanted something out of it... ( adventures in crochet )
Sunday was all about eating out... Jeff's parents called about 8:00 to let us know they were in town. They wanted to take us out to breakfast, but I had to leave for church soon. So we arranged to go out to lunch. Or rather brunch at Anthony's up in Everett. The food was pretty good. Expensive, but... Oh, it was great to have fresh squeezed OJ at a restaraunt. And the bacon was the BEST that I've EVER had! MMMMmmmmm... A few hours (and a nap) later we went over to Pandora house to help finish off some nummy turkey soup that Auntie made. The food was good, the company was better! It was a nice end to the day.
Yesterday was all about errands and goofing off. I bought an RPG game that looked like it was going to be really goofy. (Once upon a knight. Heroism. Sorcery. Cows...) ( game review )
For date night, Jeffrey and I decided to do some walking around our neighborhood. We saw a whole bunch of free stuff in front of people's houses: woodstove and dryer, 2 desks, and a washing machine that doesn't agitate. There were also several houses for sale and for rent. We actually stopped and looked at one of the for rent houses. It's on 155th right by the park on 10th. We looked in the windows and went in the back yard (it's empty right now). It's smaller than our house (only because it doesn't have a grage, though... :-), but it has forced air gas heating. It's NOT cinderblock, it has a crawlspace underneath, and the living room is pretty dang big. There was no price info on it, so we're thinking about calling to find out. Hmmm....
Anyway we'll have to see where stuff leads...
In the mean time, Jeff's parents are still in town and we are going to have lunch with them. Jeffrey drove in today, so I'm going to take the bus up to Everett today. Yea! More crochet time on the bus! :-)
I suppose I should do my paying work before it's time to get on the bus!
