Yesterday was good. I did some cleaning and stamping (first time in a couple of weeks at least!) I also did some paying work and reading. We went over to Pandora house for our work meeting. After the work portion, they showed us the second episode of the Vicar of Dibly. It was pretty funny...

Today promises to be busy. I have a school job this afternoon. Until then, I need to do some paying work and Stampin' Up! stuff. This evening, I'll be watching Valentine for an hour or so. The young man requested I bring Fluxx and Mills Bourne, so I know what we'll be doing for at least part of the time! :-)

I had a nice walk this morning. It drizzled a bit, but was mostly overcast. I realized that it smells like fall. I'm sure part of it is the damp smell that was missing most of the summer, but I think part of it is also the woodsmoke and leaf mould.... The days are getting shorter and soon I'll have to take my light with me when I go walking.

Well, I best get on to my projects for the day!

Yes, once again, this is a post about a job gone wrong... Only in that the job itself was a mistake. I showed up at the school that subfinder told me to go to and was met with total confusion. "I didn't order a sub!" 10 minutes or so later, they finally found out that the job had been entered incorrectly. It was supposed to be at another school. But that school already had someone show up for their job. So, I'm assuming that S entered in the job for the wrong school, at some point realized her mistake, created a NEW job for the right school, and forgot to get rid of the old, wrong job... Because the district is required to pay you for at least half the time you are supposed to work if you come and there is no job, they found work for me to do. I did some copying, moving stuff around, and cutting laminated stuff apart.

All in all, it could have been a MUCH worse day... But, So far, every job I've taken this year has had SOME sort of problem with it. I'm getting more and more irritated. I've had more problems with sub jobs in this school district than either of the 2 other districts I've worked in... And they were both big districts!

Anyway... I earned a few bucks... Of course, since I wasn't working with SpEd, I probably won't get the higher pay scale... sigh...

I should go think about what to make for dinner...
