I have a computer again!

I banged my head against the paying work for a while until I was too vexed to be useful. I didn't want to go to bed yet, so I set about putting Kitten back together. We had to change a couple of the BIOS options (like getting rid of floppy drive stuff since we don't have one), but then XP loaded beautifully!

Now I'm working on installing antivirus and doing Windows updates. Although I'm a much happier camper (something is going right!), so I'll probably go to bed soon.

Especially since morning (and Curves) will come way too soon... And we're having company over for dinner so I'll need to start the stew after I get home from Curves.

Oh, yea! I meant to post that I have almost been to Curves 50 times since August 2 when I joined! (I think this morning was something like 46 or 47... :-)

Go me!

Kitten is live!

Yea! Kitten is officially set up in the office! It sits on top of my old kitty case and uses the monitor and keyboard I was using in Kitty. We're keeping Kitty around to use as a print and file server box. I think it's pretty dang cool! :-)

The only things left to do are mod Kitten's case so that we can keep using the nicer video card (it sticks out slightly beyond the frame... sigh...) and get all my programs loaded on.
