and now for a more real update
Apr. 20th, 2007 11:38 pmNot much to update, though. I'm finally starting to feel better, although I'm still having sore throat issues. (pretty sure it's allergy related, though). Too bad I'm officially uninsured, now. I might have actually gone into the doctor for this one.
Jeannie's wedding (Jeff's sister) was very nice. It was a fairly small service with a nice reception afterwards. There was a fancy buffet with all kinds of posh little foods. There was also a kids buffet of chicken strips, french fries, and cupcakes. I know I wasn't the only adult to prefer the kids table... :-) The only thing that would have made it better for me was to not be sick during it...
so, I haven't gone to Curves. I haven't done much around the house. I played a lot of WoW. I slept a lot. I actually cooked a few meals. Jeff's parents took us out to a couple of lunches. I paid bills. I did laundry today. I even folded a bunch of it. I had a nice visit with CD and Gene and Mike on Wednesday (and ate really nummy food there, too!). I designed cards. I learned that I like lemon and honey in warm water. I completely failed to get my SU newsletter out (sigh). I did some grocery shopping and scored a really good deal on Dr. Pepper at Walgreens. I didn't get as much done toward card class tomorrow as I had hoped. I may or may not have bread ready for gaming on Sunday.
That pretty much sums up my week.
But the weekend should be more fun (if it doesn't wipe me out too much). Tomorrow morning is a small card class. Tomorrow night is writer's night (read hanging out with my friends, hearing some really good writing!). Sunday is Stake Conference (and I'm glad I couldn't make it to any of the rehersals for choir this time as I still don't have a very good voice). Sunday is also gaming with my friends.
But now, I believe the bed is calling to me...
