Wheat grinder woes and begging for help...

So, I have a wheat grinder. An old excalibur stone wheat grinder that my family has had for at least 25 years... It sat unused for a few years (don't know how many exactly) before my mom let me bring it up and start using it again. It has happily ground wheat for me now for several months. Today I was grinding wheat. I finished the first batch, and filled the hopper for a second batch. Just a little way into the batch, the grinder suddenly stopped turning the stone wheels... There is a motor hum, just no actual grinding. I emptied all the wheat out, hoping that it was just something stuck, but the wheels still don't turn. I know that they can manually be turned, but the tool is still at my mom's house...
I don't know if it's a motor problem, and something is jammed problem, or what. Anyone have experience with these sorts of things? My mom wants it to keep working and is willing to pay someone something if they can get it working again... I don't have the instructions with me right now, but mom says she'll try to find them and either scan and email them to me or send me home with them next week...
sigh... I just hope I have enough flour to make my bread today...
In other news, I'm all about better living through drugs... I went in to the doctor yesterday even though I'm pretty sure my cold is viral. She agreed but gave my promethezine with codeine perscription that was the real purpose for going in... So I still have the stupid cold. I still feel tired. At least now breathing doesn't hurt... And she gave me an antibiotic prescription to fill Monday if things aren't getting better. I thought that was nice so I wouldn't have to go back and spend more money just for the prescription. Well, I'm off to make bread and stuff...
