We had a marvelous time last night. I made some cookies (fudge brownie bites and no fat lemon cookies) and we headed over to Gene and Mikes. Mike had a yummy lunch of breaded, baked chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, and corn. My favorite thing was to mix up the mashed potatoes, corn, and gravy and eat it all together. Yum! :-)

Gene was in a movie watching mood. Of all the movies he's been wanting to watch, Noises Off was the most Jeri Lynn Safe (TM!:-) of them. My high school drama geek self found parts of it rather painful. There were some rather funny parts that left us in stitches, though! After that, we watched a few episodes of Jeeves and Wooster. What a funny show! Especially since several of the characters (or, rather, their parents/relatives) show up in our gaming sessions... :-)

We took the bus down to watch the firworks on the waterfront at Elliot Bay. I've forgotton how cool it is to feel the concussion of the rocket exploding. It was a very nice display. I had a great time!

Today is all about getting back to work.

I have seen Noises Off! on stage at 2 different theatres, and as soon as I saw it was on tape, I rented it. Watched for it to hit DVD and bought it. Having worked backstage and 'in the house', I have seen a lot of that kind of action. So, even though we cringe, we also laugh the harder for first-hand experiences :)

Glad you had fun!
