We have wind and chewy rain. We're not sure if it's really mild hail or snow that just isn't sticking because it's still 39 outside. But there are solids in the perciptation...
We know this because we just got back inside from tieing down a fiberglass roof panel outside our laundry room door (in the back). We lost the first one in the last wind storm. It's not too big a hole, but it will be if the second one goes. It was blowing up and curling back in the wind. So, not having any better ideas, we drilled a couple of holes in it and have tied it down to one of the support beams. One of the tie downs has a wood piece attached to try and keep the panel from tearing in the wind. We'll see how well it works...
That seems to be the worst of it so far. The awning out front is flapping around, but it's pretty well secured. And there haven't been any power flickers yet. So here's to hoping that we come through this set of storm fronts ok.
