geojlcI'm down in Portland 'till tomorrow. I came down yesterday for my mom's monthly card class. Everyone seemed to have a marvelous time (especially judged by the volume level as everyone chatted... :-). It was especially fun to watch the 3 daughters of one of the ladies get really excited when they got a card done. And it was cool to see how they decorated their envelopes. They are very artistic girls!
It's always fun to come down and hang with my family and help people make fun cards!
Today is much more quiet, although still busy. After I get off the computer, I need to finish the cards for the 2 people who couldn't come but still really wanted the cards. Then it's off to have lunch with mom and dad at Chang's. (mmmm.... Chang's!). Then some fun hang out time with mom before we go to to the once a month dinner group. My grandpa's also coming tonight. Grandma has a surgery scheduled today and Grandpa's staying with us so he doesn't have to deal with a hotel. It will be good to see him again.
Tomorrow's a trip to Curves again (yea! I'm back to going 5X a week!) before heading back up to Everett. Busy but fun.
It feels weird not posting all the time like I used to, but it feels even more weird to post stuff like "I did laundry today", "today is all about working, stamping, and folding clothing", "don't have much planned today other than the usual...", and "Ooo! My life is exciting! I got a stampin' Up! package from the UPS man! Yea for packages!" ok. So my life isn't really that boring. It just seems like it when I get in front of the computer and go to do a post. Either that or I'm feeling whiney and don't really feel like posting that. The last few weeks have been the get over the cold of doom and not much else. Hopefully that will be over soon! :-)
Speaking of the cold of doom, I think I'm finally over most of it. I still have a lingering cough (which can be a bummer if I get started), but I'm mostly feeling better. Maybe still a bit tired, but that translates to a nap in the morning and then fine the rest of the day. Yea for not being sick and tired all the time!
I suppose I should get to the cards so I don't feel guilty when I go to pick up Mom for lunch... :-)
