My picture of the week is up.

I have been working on a site overhaul, so things aren't exactly perfect yet. I have roughly half the pages finished. The main way to tell the difference is if the page has a navigation bar with buttons, or a bar with underlined links.

I also decided to wait until all the pages are done to update the stylesheet, so you won't really get to see what it looks like until then. Don't worry. I'll post... :-)

(and for those of you who wonder why, I'm having fun!...)

Other than that, today will be pretty busy. I'm off to go do my grocery shopping in a few minutes (after I get the laundry started...). After work today, I need to start canning my pears. Hopefully, by tonight, I will have my pears finished and my fruit coctail finished. We'll have to see...

Gotta run!

Oh! Good restaurant alert!

Yesterday, [livejournal.com profile] sora_kitsune and I went to Aaron Bros. before going over to the Conifur thing. I suggested we eat somewhere and he remembered this place that Vectors printed a menu for. So, we went to Baldy's on 99 near "Bent Bikes". It was great. We were there about noon and got breakfast. I ordered a vegie scramble and he ordered a meat lover's omlet. Price was about $7-8 apiece, so we figured it would be ok. Then the nice waiter came by and gave us a cup of fresh fruit cocktail (in a light honey syrup)! He also gave us a little basket of scones that had been flash fried, honeybutter and raspberry jam. I was floored. That made the place for me and I hadn't gotten food yet. The food came. It was the BEST scramble I have ever had. [livejournal.com profile] sora_kitsune really liked his omlet and the home browns were GREAT. So, we asked if we could look at their other menus. The selections were very interesting. I could eat there four days straight without being tempted to have the same thing. All the stuff looked good. So... cause we were so interested, the waiter showed up with the chef/owner Baldy! He was so nice and very gracious when we complimented him on everything.
It is a restaurant/bar... maybe tavern or pub is a better description. No smoking allowed. Very nice atmosphere. We had to tell Gene and Mike and we knew you would be wowed just by the scones and fruit cocktail! They didn't list that you get that on the menu! For our whole meal (which was so big we couldn't finish), we paid $20 plus tip. WOW. We plan to go back. Need to take Anthony too I think. :)
